When to use Winegard’s software

Open the official ConnecT / RV Halo app or support article when the hub has power, the SSID appears, and you need a published firmware note or factory reset path. Do not flash a file from a forum thread.

ConnecT hub

Treat the hub as a travel router with a Winegard support tree. Confirm the exact model before you download anything. Vendor firmware is not OpenWrt from openwrt.org and not Peplink InControl.

TV / satellite antennas

Aiming and receiver pairing follow Winegard’s current manual for that dish. We do not invent a “KING vs Winegard” firmware crosswalk. Existing KING owners: see KING.

When we recommend a different path

Owners who need multi-WAN with a named failover or bonding mode usually move toward Peplink plus Starlink bypass and a proper cellular booster.
